This Is A Real Sign Of The Times. Tebow Outed For Waiting For Marriage For Sex…

Although they stopped short of mocking Tim Tebow for maintain his vow to wait for marriage for sex, it’s so close you can almost feel it .

I think it’s amazing that it’s become so rare for anyone to uphold their Christian beliefs that if they do it makes news. People love it much more when everyone is living in sin so they won’t feel so bad about their lives. So make the guy sound weird.

I for one am absolutely impressed that a guy with all his attributes and game has done what he has with the pressure of NFL And MLB ” players” all around him.

When I say ” players” I’m not referring to the sports they are involved in. I mean the strip clubs, affairs and domestic violence that is so very prevelent in professional sports today.

I give Tebow props for putting God before man.( Or woman). I doubt we will see that too much in the press but I’m glad there is at least one guy I can point to when my kids ask about things .

Stephen Hawking- A Brilliant Mind Who Saw Everything But The Truth.

hawking

Recently I wrote about the life of Billy Graham. I wrote about why I thought the whole world loved him. There was so much to say it was hard to make the post as short as I did. Before he died someone asked him what He would say to the Lord when He first saw Him. He said ” I would ask why me? Why did you choose an uneducated farm boy from North Carolina to minister the Gospel around the world?”

As I think now of the life of Stephen Hawking, I see just the opposite type of man who Graham was. I believe I know why God chose Billy Graham for the job. He was humble, and obedient. He was not rebellious against God, just curious. Hawking spewed so much vitriol about God and why ” we don’t need to invoke a god because science explains everything.” With all of his worldly wisdom and his IQ, he could not scrape together any common sense. He discovered but a tiny, tiny little part of how God created this universe and then attributed it to nothing. A big bang in the sky. To me, its was if was saying that my truck got here by just oozing out of the ground over millions of years. His ranting sounded that stupid.

It’s hard for me to believe how much faith that man must have had. He had more faith than I do. His faith was in ideas that something came from nothing. The fact that the earth is positioned so if we moved a centimeter to either side, earth would burn up or freeze up, to Hawing did not require intelligent design. But had enough faith in a ” big explosion” that put all of us in place. For Real??

frustrayed dad

The interesting thing about him as that in the last few decades, some of the discoveries made by scientists have made the Bible so 100% accurate that it is science trying to catch up with the bible these days. Many atheist scientists like Josh McDowell and others got so sick of hearing the name of Jesus, that went on a mission to disprove the bible. Like McDowell, when they saw that they were failing to be able to do it, gave up and surrendered to God, and now he has been used in mighty ways by God.

To think that we can answer more than God is pure pride. The bible says that pride comes before a fall. The Bible also says ” The fool hath said in his heart there is no God”.(Psalm 14:1 ) It also talks about how God will harden the hearts of those who continue to reject Him. Scary thought.

When I heard of Graham passing the first thing I thought is how pleased God must be with the obedience he showed throughout his many decades of ministry. When Stephen Hawking died, I had a very sick feeling in my gut and I cannot explain it fully but it was not joy. It is even more sad that he raised his own children to reject God. If you are a parent, can you imagine purposely leading your kids down a path to complete separation from God for eternity? I cannot imagine.

So that’s about all I have to say on Stephen hawking. I wish I could add that he had a death-bed conversation, but I don’t believe that occurred.

Why Everyone Loved Billy Graham.

billy G looking up

We all have heard rumors, scandals, or just nasty talk about preachers in today’s world. Whether they were true, false or maybe a little of each, the fact is that they were all in the press and they all got attacked and mocked and accused of many things. The reason I bring this up is because I was thinking about Billy Graham these last few days. I was recalling all of the times I heard about his affairs, scandals, money hungry ways, and every behavior that I remember hearing about Billy Graham in my lifetime. The problem was, I could not recall any. Not one incident that was in the media concerning Billy Graham.

At first I thought to myself maybe I am too young to remember all his dark times. However after doing some research on him I was surprised to find out that not only was he a straight shooter with very few accusations of any type, but that to the contrary he had set records on the other side. He preached in nearly all the countries in the world, he was called on by more presidents and world leaders than anyone in history for spiritual advice, and he lived a clean life throughout his ministry. Was Billy Graham a sinner? Of course. He had the same disease we all have, according to the Bible, the sin disease we were born into. But he had an outstanding way of standing firm against the sins that so easily entangle many people and preachers today.

I want to give my two cents as to why Bully Graham lived and died as the greatest spiritual mentor in the history of this planet. There are five things I believe he did that made him the man able to excel at his calling like no other.

Billy Graham & President Lyndon B. Johnson in prayer at the White House, 1964

1- He was humble. There was never a hint of him thinking he was better than anyone in the world, as a matter of fact I think he pointed that out himself all the time.

2-He obeyed his calling. Billy Graham sacrificed much of his beloved family time and missed out on many important events simply because he put God’s call on his life before everyone and everything else.

3-He was consistent. Billy Graham was the same whether he was preaching in Haiti, or Egypt to the rich. There was no favor for either. He did not try to please people according to their culture, although respectful of each.

4- He could not be bought. Billy Graham was not interested in perks and special treatment and often turned down any opportunity to have greater housing, or meals then who he was around. He was equal to everyone and better than nobody.

5- By far and the most powerful reason I believe Billy Graham was the man he was is because he did something that is rare in today’s pulpit. He preached the Gospel as it reads in the Word of God. Never watered it down whether he was talking to a muslim imam, or to an atheist. The reason Billy Graham produced more spiritual fruit than any human in history other then Christ Himself, is because he understood that the power of the Gospel is what draws people and fills pews. Not canoe trips and fancy luncheons. It was his passion to preach the Jesus of the bible and Him alone. He knew the secret that most today don’t know or don’t practice today; stay true the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will move in mighty ways.

John 14:6 says ” Jesus said ” I am the way, the truth and the life. No man shall see the Father except through me.” This is a truth that Billy Graham NEVER compromised no matter who he was speaking to. He knew that sticking with the truth would bring forth a harvest, and boy did it. Stadiums filled to capacity all over the world everywhere he went. The most admired of spiritual leaders. Even those who professed another ” way” or ” religion ” flocked to see him, and I believe it was because no matter what hat they wore in the religious world, something inside them knew that they knew that they knew that what Billy Graham preached was the absolute truth.

I would love to have a front row seat at the judgement when rewards are handed out to the faithful of believers. I don’t think any eye has seen nor has any ear heard the things Billy Graham is now facing. How awesome of an example for us all, and what an incredible honor to live in a time when we got to hear him and see him, even if on television and in books. Thank you Rev. Graham for giving us all something to hope for in Christ, and someone to be like on earth, in you.

Don’t Push Your Beliefs On Me Please.

I have reached a point in the last year that I am going to act on some things that have been just eating me up for some time. There are several things I could go into, but I am sticking with the one that is bothering me and doing the most damage to society in general to write about today. The issue is concerning your personal beliefs and my right not to have them shoved down my throat everywhere I go. Many of you already know where I am going with this but I encourage to read through this anyhow.

Each day I leave my house I see my neighbors taking their kids to school and it never fails they have a kid with a tee-shirt on preaching it. I send my kids to school and sure enough even on the walls of the hallways I see posters and other signs of it. I go to the store and I see this brain washing going on in the clothing section, the toy section and even the checkout girl will sometimes have a shirt on or a button on with this propaganda on it. I cannot take my family to a movie anymore because it seems these days there is almost always a movie on the marquis about this guy.

If you choose to idolize and worship this imaginary dude, do so on your own time, because I should not have my family be forced to see it, read about it and be given tickets to your ” conventions” and events to celebrate your pretend friend which in my opinion is for the weak-minded. We do just fine in life without your crutch.

I am formally announcing the formation of a group to ban together and pool our resources to fight for these symbols . If it takes every penny we have we need to live in a free world where our kids are not brainwashed by these cult groups who feel a need to create some pretend friend in the sky who can fly around in the air and watch over cities and people who follow him. As a matter of fact do you people have any idea how many billions of dollars are spent each year to buy all these trinkets and shirts and look a like figures? Its amazing.

The other day I was in the grocery and the two teenagers behind my family and I in line were blabbing about him right in public! Blah Blah Blah  I had to remind my kid’s after words that those guys were  really out there and had mental health issues.

superman

Anyways I am appealing to all of you to join my group to advocate for the separation of Superman and state.

That is what this country needs. Some formal opposition to the belief of this ” superman”. Why should we have to see posters of him in our schools and on our backpacks. Why should I have to be subject to that ridiculous image of their ” superman” at almost every place I go?

So what do you all think? What do you mean it s a dumb idea because Superman does not exist? Does this mean it would be valid only if Superman was truly real? If it was truly irritating to some people because they would rather not hear his name, much less see his face?

If you think it is a dumb idea to propose a ban on Superman propaganda and get the name out of schools and public places, then you surely know Superman does not exist. Therefore it would be silly to spend millions of dollars to avoid hearing or seeing his image anywhere, right?

And so the same applies to Jesus Christ correct? If you really think about it, the only reason anyone would want to pay millions to avoid the name of Jesus, would be to ease the conscience – correct?

The truth of all this is that as the Bible states, we all have knowledge of God. The only reason anyone would make any effort to squash the name of Jesus or prevent yourself from being exposed to Him or His word, would be to temporarily avoid Him at any cost. But what about when this life ends for you? How will you sidestep judgement? You cannot.

I challenge all of my atheist and agnostic friends to revisit their motives and consider asking the one you are running from to catch you before your permanent fall…

After all according to the bible, those who run from and ignore God will pay a hell of a price..what have you to lose by taking Jesus up on His offer to be forgiven anyway?

Are you afraid you might end up in heaven ?

Should Dennis Rodman Keep Playing Video Games With The Leader Of North Korea And Hangin At His Man Cave? Get A Peace Prize? Why Not?

Dennis Rodman is different. So he wears wedding dresses once in awhile and womens undergarments. You must admit he was an awesome basketball player. And guys , admit it haven’t we all felt an urge to cruise the mall in heals and a dress ? Just once even? Lol

So I watched a documentary about his relationship to the North Korean leader- Kill- One -Now or whatever his name is. I was very surprised at what I heard. Rodman , when continuously hounded by the media and others why he keeps coming over to visit when we aren’t on good terms with the nuclear situation and all had some good answers.

I’m doing more to forge a relationship with him then anyone in politics has, or something to that effect. Basically he was saying that he felt his friendship with Kill-One- Now could possibly be reasons that the nut job would hold off on hurting our country if he had the chance.

Rodman described ( and showed footage) of him holding his baby, having dinner at with the family, and basically having run of the palace.

https://goo.gl/images/UbFupp

Dennis , in a way only Phil Jackson could interpret fully was trying to make what was quite a valid point. He actually got so emotional that he stopped the cameras at one point . He was upset because his motives have been to make good things happen by going there and yet he gets death threats from American people for going.

I’m not going to go into how Big D dresses or who he hangs with and all that because that’s who he is and a product of his own personal upbringing.

I will say that those two together both having their own eccentricities, could not make a better pair if you had to pick a pair that were just craziest enough to get along. Heres the difference in my opinion. Rodman is by no means crazy. He is very smart and most of the times with his weird stunts he is playing us for the attention but he is in total control.

The North Korean dude however I believe is straight up insane in the membrane and in need of a check up from the neck up. No question.

So maybe it’s just me but I do think that as a relationship like that strengthens, there could be less chance that the madman would hit the button toward the USA as quickly as before. Is this a good military strategy? Of course not. I am not saying that at all. I’m saying what is it hurting for the two to become besties?

So I’m giving Rodman a thumbs up for having what it takes to do what he is. Because from the footage I saw, Dennis changes for nobody’. Not even his knee high little buddy. And the little buddy loves him. Who knows maybe Rodman will win a peace prize.

After all – remember Obama awarded himself a medal of Honor ( I just threw up in my mouth a little) so since he did nothing but hurt us, I could live with Rodman getting the Peace prize. And I’m sure he would celebrate with his peace pipe…lol

Liberals Show Their Colors Too Early On State Of The Union. Hard To Believe They Are Not Ashamed Of Themselves, Yet Again.

I really don’t like politics. However as of late, when I realized we had a muslim brotherhood member in office, I vowed to start listening and learning more. Last night was Trump’s first State of the Union address, and I tuned in to try to understand more of what both sides are fighting about, both conservatives and liberals. I wanted to come in with an open mind and a willingness to hear commentaries from both sides.

I never got the chance. You see the members of the network I tuned in to gave such a pre speech cut down of what was to come, trying to washout any value in the speech before it was even given, that they lost my ear. I had to avoid listening to too much pre speech moaning and whining about the president . I felt like I was back in 3rd grade on the playground and the class bully was threatening to take their ball and go home unless they got to play the position they wanted, and cheat along the way just because they had the ball. Before we even started.

wp-image--278510012

After the speech was over I was expecting some ” shoe in mouth” reaction by the liberals to save face because the speech turned out so well. However, my hopes were popped like a balloon as I listened to them complain about such moronic issues that once again I was amazed anyone actually paid them to be there and talk. Childish behavior.

1- It was too long . Whaaaaaa

2-The first lady came in by herself without the President. ( Duh, that’s just the order of the program), and despite what the NBC critics said in yet another desperate attempt to find a flaw with the president – it does not mean there is ” trouble in paradise” for the couple.

Idiots.

3- The president ” took advantage” of some sensitive stories like the guy with no legs, the families who lost a daughter to street violence and a few others. ( Hey guys, it’s better than pimping rapper Jay-z and Beyonce at the white house gigs like Obama did.) What are you thinking ” taking advantage of this”? Because he gave props and prayers to the families that have suffered?

You can’t fix stupid I guess.

4-The President clapped when everyone else did, so this must mean he thinks he is better than us all. ( Hey people, should he have brought a pocket game boy to play during the cheering? What leader does not join in celebrating success with his/ her people?)

5-His huge tax break is up in 2027. (Duh, so will his terms).

6-He was selling himself, Donald Trump.

(I am sorry to inform you that just because he happens to be the record-breaking president in taking action when he said he would and fulfilling promises he made does not mean he was ” selling himself” . He was cheering for our progress as a country.

I could keep going and going but I won’t. You get the idea. The bottom line is I never got to evaluate policy and learn how he is doing on the issues too much because the liberal media was so busy throwing stones that I could not get to it. My evaluation is that it was one of the most hopeful and encouraging fact filled speeches that I have heard in a long time and for sure better than anything that EVER came out of the muslim brotherhood representative we had in there for 8 years.

Donald Trump is not Jesus. None of us are. So he that hath no sin, cast the first stone. Everyone else,

Shut your pie hole.

I still love all my democrat and liberal friends. As a matter of fact I even pray for you all! However the 3rd grade name calling and behavior has got to stop if you truly love the USA. It isn’t about you. it is about all of us. The election is over and you should be too.

Call Me Soft- My Pick For This Month In Music- But Before You Mock Me- Watch It..

Blake & Christina Bring It With I’m Just A Fool-

Usually it’s Tom Petty or Switchfoot I put up as a recent song that was powerful to me. This month its an unlikely pair when it comes to music styles. Blake Shelton who is 100% country and self proclaimed redneck paired with glitz and glam New York style’s Christina Aguilera. I have no idea how I stumbled across it but when I saw those two holding microphones next to each other I knew Christina was not about to jump into a chew tobacco tune with Blake. I have to  admit the first time I watched them sing it, the word powerful came to mind. It could be just me, but I doubt it. Check it out by clicking on the link above!

Foster Care Normalization. Is This An Oxymoron? Its Your Call . . . (Parenting 2017)

Normalization is a term that can be tossed around in certain circles when foster parenting is the topic. Some define it as the right of foster kids to have very similar opportunities as kids in traditional family homes. Not just material things, which most 14 year olds think they should have, such an X-Box and 2  hoodies. It means being able to attend groups, activities or school functions. just as their peers can and do. It means not lagging behind in anything in which they want to participate, due to their being in Foster Care.

The idea itself is wonderful, but how realistic is it to accomplish using State and Federal guidelines? We live in an ever-changing world with cultures that are very different from each other.  It is more important that a solid foundation is laid so the child has an adequate confidence level before worrying about whether they are getting into the same activities as everyone else. If I had to pick only one phrase in this whole entire post that one would retain for sure, it would be the following . . .

Normalization is achieved as a by-product of self-esteem and confidence. One cannot force normalization on old, beaten down souls in young bodies, without these strengths!

My work in live-in foster care was about six years and during that time I had over 40 teenagers, about six at a time in our home. Following those years, I spent most of my career working with the same population but in other venues.

In order to prepare for my career in foster care at Father Flanagan’s Boystown (beside my formal training in college as a social worker), I was trained 30 straight days before even being allowed to talk or speak with a child. Their program was probably the best I have ever seen as far as results go.  I believe this is due to the fact it was a family model as referred to in the industry. This model leans toward helping that group of people who are now together, function as much as possible like a family unit.  Our job depended on making sure that occurred. It was important that we would never be misconstrued to be an institutional-type setting, where a kid just felt like another number.

foster home

So whether you’re a foster parent to 1 or 2 or 8, at whatever age, the first priority, in my opinion, should be building foundations.  Help them acquire the tools needed (confidence and self-esteem) to become normalized.  A natural outcome will include a sense of ownership, (in your home/family), so they can call your home, their home.

I live in Florida so we get hurricanes almost every year. This year we had Irma, which crushed our state, covering the entire state with its 100mph+ winds and severe flooding. After it was safe to return home, I was again reminded of the difference between the stick/ wooden homes that were mansions and once huge and stunning but which now looked like they were kicked over like a wooden match book.

However, as we came back to our smaller, non-mansion home,  we had power, and just some flooding, no damage to our brick foundation . Build your foster family on the brick foundation that holds its own during the storm. Once you have the solid foundation, the other things will fall in to place.

In closing, here are 5  key tips I used on all of my foster kids, and my 4 natural kids. Whether you are a foster parent now, may become one soon or currently have only your natural children, these work across the board.  They pertain to normalization because no insecure kid will be itching to participate in any activities without the tools needed on the inside.

Building the inside up first gives way for that needed experience and confidence necessary to transition into normalized activities.   I hope you enjoy these tips.  I assure you, after 20 years in direct care and with my own four kids, they work!

God bless you all.

We Never Ask For Money Here- Except Today- Just Read it Please.

Support This Evangelist In India- Hes Doing Alone What Many Would Not Attempt Here. When you click on the link below you will be taken directly to their website and photo galleries of all they have done to minister. You may want to turn the volume down when you first open the site because it starts with many former Hindus and others praising the Lord with no doubt they mean it! You will see a Pay Pal button on the site so do what you can. Remember if only 10% of us gave just 5$ that is 500$ and enough for this Christmas.

Help The Hungry In India Through Pastor Dileep

Here is his link above . This is actually Evangelist Dileep who started this little Christ filled church just 4 years ago by himself, now he is 27 I believe and has 75 new believers/ Now I tell you how he went from 15 to 75 with very little and how we all can help a ton by giving just a little..God blessed him a new beautiful wife just months ago as well!

Its time For Dileep in India to ask for donations so his small church surrounded by Hindu churches can do what they do – minister each Christmas by getting enough money raised give rice and beans to all the Hindus who have no food. By this simple act of reaching out his church has grown from 15 to 75 many of whom are former Hindus who could not ignore the Gospel being demonstrated right in their own homes by this very outreach.

It is unreal how many they can feed rice and beans to for a small amount. For example if only 10% of my readers gave 5$ each, they would have enough to serve rice and beans to all the surrounding homes this Christmas.

Folks we are talking 500$ total to do that much ministry. Please go to the little website Dileep has set up and there is now a pay pal button you can give right directly to them. They appreciate help to do this as this is their Christmas present to them. They love serving and even in the pastors day job the money goes mostly to get Bibles and food for their own church.

Giving to them is like stretching every penny 10 different ways as it is so inexpensive ( to us) to support them.

Please lets take a few bucks and let them feed more people.

Should I Feel Uncomfortable? Look Who Is Sitting Across From Me….

Yesterday I was waiting for my number to be called at DMV in Florida.  Across from me, I  notice this  guy sitting here, staring around other people quietly monitoring the whole room. I got nervous. I’ll admit it.

He was the right color, with the right beard, even had a pilots shirt on. It may be wrong , or it may be because the 911 pilots trained just minutes from where I was. Whatever the reason I felt uneasy and I know some might say I am a racist or bigot. I just know it was truth to me.

Am I wrong to feel this way? Its sad I should even have any thoughts about him, but I did..
