Confession & Communion… Followed By Chemical Castration…

I watched a special today on chemical castration in America and how some prisons and hospitals are requiring or offering it before releasing pedophiles back into society.

Huh?

Why?

I couldn’t help but be amazed at huge cities like Dallas, Texas and others were protesting one or maybe two prisoner’s releases (after serving 10 or more years)  simply due to the fact that they had molested children.

The reason I was so amazed is because we have thousands of pedo- priests that rape and molest kids daily, and not only are they not going to prison…but they get paid very well to do it and supported by the public, by their parishioners, and the Vatican.

In much of the Catholic church a man can have a high dollar career gig just for chasing little boys around the rec-tear-y.

Whats  all the hubbub in the rest of the world about these guys?

Once again it troubled me greatly to think about this problem that we seem to be not wanting to deal with, and then I watched another movie.

This movie was with Alan Alda and was about a newspaper and reporting. In this particular movie a writer asks the editor of his paper what he thought people want to read.

His answer was simple but shocking and actually very revealing to me. I believe it is sadly true in our pedo -priest world and the lack of accountability.

His answer was “people want to read anything but the truth”

His point being, that people don’t want to read about how their favorite athlete just got pinched for domestic violence, their favorite movie star is a cross dresser ( I dont mean Jesus Freak either) , or even that their priest is molesting children (even if it may be their own) and pay each day to read the paper or magazine about that.

It’s just easier to pretend it doesn’t happen and that their hero is really the hero.

That resonated with me deeply, and I do believe there is much truth to that with this whole Catholic Church “altar boy toy” racket.

However, some cycles are meant to be broken. We can’t continue to put out movies and documentaries and write things celebrating one or two freaks we catch in the community, that the whole state is protesting the release of, yet pay and reward these priests that we are supporting each day.

I think chemical castration should follow confession and communion in the Catholic church for the priest and would be a great way to round out the cycle.

*And  if they haven’t already offed themselves, im sure hundreds of thousands of male victims would be willing to help expedite the process

I, and the rest of my team all have both the formal education to coach others but more importantly we also have the life experience which allows us to relate to all the phases and hurdles that come with recovering from issues like depression, addiction, domestic violence, spiritual confusion, and much more. I feel that the combination of formal training and life experience allows us to meet those we help every point of need- in a real way.
