Social Worker- Mental Health, Addictions, and Behavioral health- Leadership Educator-, Juvenile Justice. A variety of coaching. I have a great desire to help others make it through times that I myself have had to navigate. I understand the process, the pain, and the support needed. I, and the rest of my team all have both the formal education to coach others but more importantly we also have the life experience which allows us to relate to all the phases and hurdles that come with recovering from issues like depression, addiction, domestic violence, spiritual confusion, and much more. I feel that the combination of formal training and life experience allows us to meet those we help every point of need- in a real way.

  1. That is awesome! Good for him. There needs to be more people who are willing to put their foot down when situations like that occur. That made my day. I’ll say it again – good for him! πŸ™‚

    1. Yes! Not many anymore will take a stand for others. I am very glad you enjoyed it, I especially did- having spent years working with the most severely disadvantaged people around. Someone has to speak up for them. πŸ™‚

      1. My son is autistic and he (and I) have gotten plenty of looks and we’ve overheard many comments over the years. People are rude and speak out of ignorance. So, this type of story has a special place in my heart as well.

      2. Wow. Glad to see you make such great memories with him, and do not let others interfere with that. I have worked with the full spectrum of Autistic kids and they are some of the greatest of all!
